Most gained market cap

Hi,

On the homepage (nomics.com) → highlights → Market Cap Gainers, coins listed on most gained market cap. How do I get this information out of the API ?

Is there also a top losers to find?

Thanks !

Hello,

We fetch the currencies ticker and sort the entries by 1d market cap change percent field. You can reverse sort to get losers.

Hi,

I did fetch all the currencies and sort it by 1d market cap change pct…
Now I compared the output with your webpage and there are differences.

On your webpage Herocoin is number one with 4.68%

and the output:
{‘name’: ‘HeroCoin’, ‘symbol’: ‘PLAY’, ‘price’: ‘14.93865046’, ‘market_cap’: ‘2223510099’, ‘volume’: ‘48659208.13’, ‘market_cap_change_pct’: 0.0463, ‘volume_change_pct’: ‘1.0644’, ‘high’: ‘14.93865046’}

In my sorted output DAPS Coin is number 1
{‘name’: ‘DAPS Coin’, ‘symbol’: ‘DAPS’, ‘price’: ‘0.00043248993’, ‘market_cap’: ‘27035997’, ‘volume’: ‘57164.51’, ‘market_cap_change_pct’: 17.0715, ‘volume_change_pct’: ‘0.2328’, ‘high’: ‘0.00063531960’}

Is there something I’m seeing / doing wrong ?
Looks like the output of HeroCoin is /100 ?

Thanks!

Hello,

Percentages in our API are represented as a fraction, so 0.0463 = 4.63%, 1.0 = 100%, 0 = 0%, etc.

In this case, DAPS Coin is actually 1,707.15%.

Because small cap coins can have extreme volatility, we limit our highlights to only show currencies in the top 100.
